Compact Workbench Woodworking Plan

Build this bench in a weekend, and enjoy it for the rest of your life. Made entirely of dimensional lumber, it requires just a portable circular saw (or mitersaw) and drill to create it in its simplest form. For the best results possible, we invested time traveling to various home centers and sorting through fir 2x8s, and then ripping their rounded edges off with a tablesaw to create the version shown. Though doing that results in a little extra waste, we were also able to cut out some defects, such as knots and sap pockets, and incorporate board sections with the straightest grain.
